Hi. Evani here, creator and artist of this new webcomic, Paranoid Pete, first in the series of webcomics known as SkrachPad Comix,
by yours truly. Paranoid Pete, the concept and characters, was actually started a few years ago, when I first began College. I had
always enjoyed art and drawing, and at the time thought that it would be quite fun to start up a webcomic, just for sh**s and giggles.
Scheming with my best friend there, Amber, we came up with the idea for a paranoid and somewhat skittish alley cat named Pete, who
believed that the rats were out to get him. It would only make things funnier, of course, if he was right. She was originally to have
written the dialogue for Nip, having a bit more of an extensive vocabulary than I (that's an understatement...), but at the time
I hadn't the equipment or time to actually follow through with the venture. Now, Amber and I have lost touch a bit, it's years later
and I finally have the means and drive to put Pete out there. So there you have it, the origins of ParanoidPete.

Other than that, yes, I do draw other things, and plan to expand the SkrachPad line to include one or two other webcomics, but they are
currently in the conceptual development stage. I'll let the lot of you know right now that, yes, it is supposed to look like that. The
art is meant to look as if it's done as a hobby in a sketchpad, not really all that clean or pristine. That is the skrachpad way.
